Maddie Garry

Programme Owner and Head Coach

Hello, I'm Maddie! I started Altitude in 2018 after coaching for many years and wanting to share my passion for the sport! I have BGU coaching qualifications Levels 1-6, UKCC Level 2 Gymnastics and UKCC Level 1 TeamGym.

I started gymnastics at age 4 and cheerleading at 8 years old and very quickly fell in love with the sports! I have competed at the World Championships 6 times now and won Gold in 2017 with Team England. I have been coaching for close to 15 years for both Gymnastics and Cheerleading. I have coached teams to win National and Grand Champion titles and I coach full time for Altitude as well as in Universities and in schools.

Elizabeth Curme

Hi, I am Elizabeth, and I have been coaching at Altitude since the programme began in 2018 and have BGU qualifications levels 1-6. I have been coaching cheerleading for around 10 years and have coached levels 1-3 of all age ranges winning a few regional and National titles. I started as a gymnastics coach, which I took up at the age of 13 gaining my level 1 and 2 coaching qualification in general gymnastics. I love coaching and I have a real passion in helping athletes gain confidence, build upon their skills and become the best athletes they can !

I have participated in cheerleading myself since the age of 14 having done gymnastics before this. I have competed in levels 1-7, where I have competed at the IASF cheerleading World Championships multiple times as well as the ICU cheerleading world championships 5 times with team England and managing to win Gold in 2017!

Justine Garry

Hello, I’m Justine and I am a level 3 qualified British Gymnastics coach and have my level 1 and 2 cheerleading qualifications. I am fully DBS checked and have a certificate for safeguarding and protecting children. I coach Sierra at Altitude and I love working with the younger athletes and seeing them develop their stunting and tumbling skills. I also coach gymnastics for children aged 4 upwards.

I am on Helicon and we have won national champions at multiple competitions. I love being part of Altitude as an athlete and a coach. It’s a great environment and very rewarding!

Hello, my name is Valeria and this is my third year coaching. I have previously coached the Recreational team for two years and assistant coached Bamba. I am very excited to begin coaching Bamba this season once again. I have my level 1 and 2 qualifications as well as being fully DBS checked.
